We had an amazing experience hosting 2 students from Japan! It was great to see them both come out of their shell as they accustomed to life in America and became more confident in their English skills. It was a great time getting to not only teach them about our culture but also learn about their customs and traditions in Japan.

As a retired couple, we've found an unexpected joy in opening our home to students. It's not just about providing a home away from home for the students, but also about the enriching experience we gain in return. We're learning about other cultures, traditions, and their perspective on life, which has added a vibrant layer to our golden years. It's like we've become a family away from his family, sharing meals, stories, sightseeing and laughter.
